BMC is a service-based software company specializing in automation, service management, DevOps, workflow orchestration, AIOps, and security. After designing the BMC Helix Control-M product pages, BMC returned with a request for a customer-focused global navigation design. We found the internal jargon labels and long lists of products caused the navigation to be unfriendly to users. We needed to reevaluate names and labels, information structure, and the visual organization.

My Role: UI/UX Designer

I collaborated with a UX Strategist who conducted discovery interviews with stakeholders then built the navigation information architecture. From the research, I created wireframes for all platforms then designed high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.

I created rough wireframes to iterate ideas for the most optimal presentation of information. I used these to map out what screens will use the same template and how all elements will move throughout platforms.
